Can you explain the meaning of Surah Al-Baqarah verse 212?

Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they ridicule those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. God provides to whomever He wills without measure. Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 212: (Verse 212) That is, the reason why the disbelievers do not believe is that the world is too beautiful in their eyes. Believers who do not consider the adornment of this world as anything compared to the blessings of the Hereafter are thought by the infidels to be forgetful and mad, so they have made it their business to mock and humiliate them, except for the Day of Resurrection. The day of the pious will be higher than them in every regard, because the name of the believers will be among the strangers and the disbelievers will be asfal al...

Where is the one true God?

A profound question that has been debated by theologians and philosophers for centuries! 1. Abrahamic Religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) ● Omnipresence: God is not confined to a physical location but is understood as transcendent (beyond creation) and immanent (present everywhere). For example: ● In Christianity, God is believed to dwell in heaven (Matthew 6:9) but also within believers (1 Corinthians 3:16). ● Islam emphasizes Allah’s transcendence: "No vision can encompass Him" (Quran 6:103), yet He is "closer than your jugular vein" (Quran 50:16) No vision can grasp Him, but His grasp is over all vision. He is the Subtle, the Expert. We created the human being, and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are nearer to him than his j...

How many times is the oneness of Allah mentioned in the Quran?

The concept of the oneness of Allah (Tawheed) is a central theme in the Quran and is expressed in various forms and verses throughout the entire text. While the exact wording may vary, the idea of Allah's oneness is emphasized repeatedly. 1. Direct References: Specific phrases like "لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ" (There is no deity except Allah) and similar expressions occur several times in different contexts. 2. Surah Al-Ikhlas (112:1-4): This Surah is often considered the clearest declaration of Allah's oneness: Say, “He is Allah, the One. اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ Allah, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” It summarizes Tawheed in its purest form. 3. Other Verses Emphasizing Oneness: Verses such as: Your Allah is one Allah. There is no god but He, the Benevole...
